On Monday night, April 23, more than two dozen members of the Yale College Democrats gathered in the Branford Trumbull Room to celebrate the end of the semester in traditional Yale fashion.  The Dems toasted one another, passing a cup around the circle, reliving fond memories and telling amusing stories.  Seniors Rachel Ruskin, Katharine Gallogly and former Dems President Marina Keegan attended; they stressed what an amazing family the Dems is and how thankful they are that they involved themselves in the organization.

Current Dems President Zak Newman finished the cup, facing the decades-old challenge of “cleaning the cup”— removing all traces of liquid from the vessel using only his mouth and hair to a boisterous chorus of “Put a nickel on the drum.”

It truly has been an unbelievable semester.  See you all in the fall!
