About Us

sharing our agenda, sharing our archive

Who we are, what we do.

The Dems Docket is a living archive and publication of policy and advocacy work initiated in the Legislative Advocacy branch and developed to support the broader Yale College Democrats community.

Established in 2026 under the leadership of Legislative Advocacy Deputy Coordinator Mia Gorlick, the Docket's fundamental aim is to democratize access.

We believe that the most effective, resilient, and trusted political organizations are those with a legacy of building institutional knowledge and providing a transparent “docket,” or agenda, to the public.

We build

wide-ranging collaborative partnerships with policy advocates via knowledge sharing

We recognize

the achievements of the Legislative Advocacy, Elections, Voter Advocacy, and City branches such that our archive is holistically representative of Yale Dems’ advocacy

We amplify

Yale Dems’ voice within and beyond the collegiate space through the preservation of work dating to 2024

The Dems Docket is managed by the Legislative Advocacy Deputy Coordinator, who must hold a simultaneous position on the Communications Team to serve as the Archival Director.

Thank you for your readership and support.

The current Archival Director is: Mia Gorlick. She can be reached at: mia.gorlick@yale.edu.
